Finding a Property
Finding a Property is a process that most people
dread but can actually be painless if a real estate agent or Real
Estate Attorney Ingrid Santamaria is involved. A real estate agent can
help you search for properties based on your criteria and will narrow the search
so that instead of viewing dozens of properties, you are more likely to find the
house of your dreams within the first few homes you view.
If you choose
not to hire a real estate agent, you may search online for properties, or search
newspaper ads, for sale by owner directories or even drive around. Another
common way to find a property is by word of mouth.
Before
determining what type of property you are looking for, you should consider
several factors: 1)what price range can you afford, 2) how much financing can
you actually obtain based on lenders' criteria [see our page on Mortgages],
3) what areas are you willing to live in, 4) how many bedrooms and bathrooms do
you need, and 5) other miscellaneous MUSTS that you need in the
property.

property, please do not hesitate to contact our office so that we may
answer your concerns or help you with the entire process.
